Dear Charles,
in case you were still wondering if Jürgens issue was an exception or not, I can tell you that I experienced the same behavior on two PCs of mine:
Laptop: Surface Book 2 Intel Core iU @ GHz, running bit Windows 10 and Excel bit
Desktop: Intel Core iK CPU @ GHz, running bit Windows 10 and Excel bit
I tried all the three RealStats version I could found in my storage:
Excel //// Windows
Excel //// Windows
Excel //// Windows
unfortunately, I havent older versions to test.
This 1-second delay in copy and paste actions is introduced whenever (and only when) one of the above XRealStats add-in is enabled.
The effect is instantaneous, i.e. no need to restart Excel. Of course, it persists even after Excel or Windows get restarted.
To me, is a minor issue and I can ignore this cost, in particular if compared to the immense benefit I get from having RealStats enabled in Excel!
However, I felt to report this to you for your information, since it might well be the rule, rather than the exception (Id bet most of RealStats users didnt notice it, or simply ascribed it to a physiological slow down of their machine performance).
If you are interested in having a larger sample size 🙂 I could do some more tests on different machines or with older RealStats versions (if you send them to me) in order to detect the possible starting point of this behavior.
Just let me know
but, in any case, thank you for you effort and your wonderful software!
