How to download any video as mp4s

Videos are being shared more and more online, and there are no major social media platforms that don’t support video content in Video sharing should be easier than ever, but there are still some bumps in the road that can make posting and sharing video files on the web difficult.

One of the most familiar difficulties to sharing video content online is changing a video’s file type. Some types aren’t supported for web upload, some take too much space, and others can’t be played on your device without downloading a thirds-party media player app. In , the MP4 is the most widely usable video file type for your videos – I’m going to show you how to convert any video you have on your computer or found on the web to an MP4 file, all for free and online.

This Convert Video tool works for the following video types:

• AVI: An audio with video format, common on some camera types
• FLV: Flash video
• WMV: Windows Media Video, an old-school video format from Microsoft
• 3GP: A multimedia format found on feature phones and older phones
• MOV and QT: Quicktime files or files filmed on a Mac, iPhone, or iPad

Step 1: Upload Your Video to the Kapwing Studio

Uploading a video to Kapwing takes just a few seconds. First, go to diseinuak4web.net and click "Start Editing" to go the the Kapwing Studio, where you can convert your video from any video file type (even out-of-date ones like WMV) to an MP4 file, and make all the edits you need.

To upload a video from your computer, phone, or tablet, you can select the button that says “Click to upload” and find the file you want to edit in your file browser. If you want to use a video you found online, or one you’ve stored in a place like Google Drive, simply copy the link to the video you want to upload, and paste it into the field that says “Paste a link.”

If you want to make any edits to your video, stick around in the Studio before processing your video:
• Add & edit text
• Add other pictures, GIFs, videos, overlays, & audio
• Add shapes
• Add text animations
• Crop & filter

Step 2: Publish & Download as an MP4!

Now that your video has been uploaded to the Kapwing Studio, just click “Publish” in the upper left corner to export your video as an MP4. This is the default file type for videos processed in the converter, so you don't need to change any settings.

Once your video is done processing, you’ll go to a page where you can choose to download or continue editing. Just click “Download” and Kapwing will save the video to your device! To download your MP4 video to your phone, long-press on the video or click the Download button. On a computer, your new video will appear in your downloads folder. On a phone, it should be saved to your camera roll.
