Good Morning!! I can't play MIDI files on my windows 10 pc

When playing MIDI files, VLC needs sf2 (SoundFont) files because a MIDI files does Codec Pack you can play almost all your video and audio file downloads. A Simple Library of sounds, perfect for VLC Player and other things. These files have an unknown license, were obtained from unkown sources or were compiled Copy a Soundfont wtk_diseinuak4web.net2 from in Floppy Disk MB or Floppy Disk Or download another melodic soundfont, Recording an Audio Samsung. The problem was not solved, I think the problem is related to Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth!

I cannot hear MIDI playback using Microsoft GS Wavetable software synthesizer! !

Symptoms:

When playing a MIDI Interface (Musical Instrument) device file, no sound is heard, even though the volume settings are correct.

On one site I found that this behavior can occur if the Gmdls file is missing or damaged.

But my pc is Windows 10, and how to solve this problem ??

Hi, I'm Robinson, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you.

To configure the Synthesis codec.

1-Download the package named "Source code(zip) on this link.

2-Unzip the downloaded file on a new folder then saves this folder on C:

3-Open the VLC player click on Tools>Preferences.

4-On the bottom left change the "Show settings" to all.

5-On the "Input/Codecs" expand the option "Audio codecs" then click on "FluidSynth"

6-Click on Browse on the SoundFont File then selected the folder saved on disk C:\" saved folder"\sf2 and selected the file named "diseinuak4web.net2 and click on Open.

7-Save the Settings and Close VLC Player.

8-Yours Midi files will work now.
