Is Sony still throttling PSN download speeds in the US?
I found the blog post from late March when they started limiting downloads speeds, but couldn’t find if that was ever changed.
I’m trying to download the THPS demo now and it’s ridiculously slow, 15 mins for GB. I have a gigabit connection and it usually speed tests Mbps, but on PS4 the test shows 62Mbps.

Why is the difference between wired and wireless speeds so great? I mean, you expect some but those are some huge discrepancies.
I don't know but my PSN download speed is also slow as hell. My phone downloads faster than my PS4.

I think so. Mine was pretty slow the other day, even thought it was a bit past midnight. Slow relative to speeds prior to the throttle being implemented. On wired.
My PS4 Pro and Xbox One X both get s*** download speeds unless wired even though I'm less than 40 feet from my router.
It's a daily thing with them still, have a /down and 18/up and around every day it drops to 60sh until after midnight,

my ethernet cable download speed on my ps4 is slower than my wifi download speed on my Xbox one. Its ridiculous

Wireless is slower because it has to go through encryption/decryption protocols, which use CPU cycles to process.
