You don't need an app, just sign into Amazon Prime in your browser (I used Edge just now) and choose the video you want to play. It will start playing.

Unfortunately it doesn't work well when you're in airplane mode on an airplane. You need to be able to download the video and you therefore need the prime app. I heard it was because of of digital rights management and that it was Amazon's restriction 😠

They had an app but I don't know where it went. Maybe it's being upgraded. I'd keep checking the MS Store app.

Since Amazon is responsive to Prime members, I'd let them know about it, too. I will do the same.
