|This will be as noob friendly as I try to make this guide be|
First you will need to set up a Static ip. Go here to learn on how to do so--> diseinuak4web.net
Now you will need to setup Port Forwarding. Now go here --> diseinuak4web.net
From there, find your router brand and then your exact router model. Once found and clicked, you will see this on the page:
Application: Make sure to select "Final Fantasy XIV PC"
IP Address: Make sure to input the "Static ip Address" you setup earlier.
Now go ahead and follow the directions on the page to port forward the selected ports.
If done correctly, the ports you just forwarded are these:
UDP
TCP
, , , 80
For good measure, I recommend restarting your PC once everything is completed(Not needed though)
Once you completed all my steps, you should now be able to download the patches with no more interferences.
