Question:Q:Safari does not finish downloads
Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.
I can't download any file with Safari. The download starts, gets all the MB's but doesn't finish. So I can't open the file.
I got through the usuall settings, help files, googled for answer, changed the WPA2/WPA mixed modus to WPA2-Personal and WPA-Personal. I can't find out why
Its a new macbook pro with osx lion. Thanx for suggestions or THE answer

Suggestion
Go to ~/Library/Safari
Move the diseinuak4web.net file from the Safari folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Unfortunatualy, it doesn't solve the problem. Thanx for the reaction. Any other suggestions?
I suspect it has to do with my network or something. I have a Linksys E router with WPA2/WPA mixed security

Possibly the WPA
If you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
And turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
And try recyling the router by turning it off for a few minutes then turning it back on.

Try recycling the router.
Do you have Little Snitch installed?

No haven't installed that program. But my macbook is brand new and clean. That's why I think it has something to do with my network / router.. Are there problems known with osx lion and router / network issues?
I already had the problem when I was installing osx lion. At the end of the installation/downloading of osx lion he said he couldn't download. I went to a friend of my and the macbook was installing osx lion succesfully on his network. Now on my own network, i can surf on the internet but not download

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. First, disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard, mouse, and monitor, if applicable, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
- Be sure your Mac is shut down.
- Press the power button.
- Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
- Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including your login items.
Launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

Are you sure that is from Adobe? That is not usually how they name their files. There are a number of malware around that poses as Flash downloaders.
