Gerard Butler was seen bonding with Yash Birla, the owner of industrial conglomerate group of the same name. Birla posted a photograph with the ‘’ star on Instagram and captioned it “Rishikesh is rising , London has not fallen.” Also seen in the photograph was Birla’s daughter.
The young industrialist and the Hollywood A-lister spent quality time near the Ganges in Rishikesh. Butler also took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself doing Suryanamaskar.
He captioned the picture saying, "Let your light shine in to the new decade. Sending you all love. Happy New Year from the Himalayas."
Several reports suggested that the ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke had also landed in India to celebrate the new year.
She was reportedly clicked at Jaipur airport while she was leaving for a flight to Delhi. However, this is not the first time Clarke has visited the country.
In August , Clarke had set foot on the Indian soil and even took to Instagram to share her experience, full of elaborate details on blind monkeys stealing her food and spiritual awakening.
